Aussies may miss out on big money in IPL

The Australian cricketers may miss out on substantial sums this season as they have very limited window in playing for this years IPL. Some players like Haddin have 50-50 chances of playing as the Aussie team is touring Pakistan for the one day series in April. The pakistan tour is to be scheduled for a neutral venue for security reasons. Some of the Twenty20 players for Australia may leave in may because of the t20 world cup in england this year.

Shipla Shetty owns part of Rajasthan Royals



The Former Big Brother Winner and Bollywood Actresses owns 11% stake in the Rajasthan Royals with her partner Raj Kundra. She was very much exited about the new deal and will continue to be the brand ambassador for Rajasthan Royals.
A total of £368 million was spent by the Indian Investors last year.

No players from Pakistan in IPL:Modi

IPL chairman Lalit Modi has confirmed that no Pakistan player would participate in the second edition of the Indian Premier League.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board has advised their players not to travel to India as the situation is not appropriate amidst all the tensions involved because of the Mumbhai blasts

Five Pakistan cricketers--Yasir Hameed, Yasir Arafat, Asim Kamal, Danish Kaneria and Mohammad Hafeez--were due to appear in the IPL player auction at the Indian state of Goa on February 10.

Deccan Chargers are not selling their IPL team as there are no buyers. The Deccan Chargers bought the team for 107 million dollars in 2008. They want to review the decision again in 3 years.

The Deccan chargers Team stood last in the last edition of IPL.
